【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsforthechemicalanalysisofmetalsandalloysareprimarilyintendedasrefereemethodstotestsuchmaterialsforcompliancewithcompositionalspecifications,particularlythoseunderthejurisdictionofASTMCommitteeA1onSteel,StainlessSteel,andRelatedAlloys.Itisassumedthatallwhousethesetestmethodswillbetrainedanalystscapableofperformingcommonlaboratoryproceduresskillfullyandsafely.ItisexpectedthatworkwillbeperformedinaproperlyequippedlaboratoryunderappropriatequalitycontrolpracticessuchasthosedescribedinGuideE882.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthechemicalanalysisofstainless,heat-resisting,maraging,andothersimilarchromium-nickel-ironalloyshavingchemicalcompositionswithinthefollowinglimits:1.3TestmethodsforthedeterminationofseveralelementsnotincludedinthisstandardcanbefoundinTestMethodsE30andTestMethodsE1019.1.4Someoftheconcentrationrangesgiveninaretoobroadtobecoveredbyasingletestmethodandthereforethisstandardcontainsmultipletestmethodsforsomeelements.TheusermustselectthepropertestmethodbymatchingtheinformationgivenintheScopeandInterferencesectionsofeachmethodwiththecompositionofthealloytobeanalyzed.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Insomecases,exceptionsallowedinPracticeE380arealsoused.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardsstatementsaregiveninSectionandinspecial"Warning"paragraphsthroughoutthesetestmethods.1.6Thismethodcoversthedeterminationofmanganeseinconcentrationsfrom0.01to5.00%.1.7Thismethodcoversthedeterminationofphosphorusinconcentrationsfrom0.002to0.35%.
