【摘要】:Thispracticedescribessamplingproceduresandtestpracticesfordeterminationofvariousmagneticpropertiesofbothsoftandhardmagneticmaterials.Thispracticemaybeusedeitherinconjunctionwith,orindependentof,thestandardtestmethodsandmaterialsspecificationsunderthejurisdictionofASTMCommitteeA06.Intheformersituation,thesamplingandtestingprocedureslistedhereinshallnotsupersedethosefoundintheindividualtestmethodsandmaterialsspecifications.Inthelattersituation,thesamplingandtestingprocedureslistedhereinshallstrictlyapply.Thevaluesstatedineithercustomary(cgs-emuandinch-pound)unitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthispractice,theSIunitsareshowninbracketsexceptforthesectionsconcerningcalculationswherethereareseparatesectionsfortherespectiveunitsystems.thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththispractice.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
